SPEAKER: Keri Bowman
Keri has worked in higher education for over 23 years in a variety of institutions. Her roles have included working with students in a variety of capacities, and working with faculty designing curriculum and assessment methods. Advising, administration, and faculty review and development. She began working at The Erie County Community College as Dean of Students in July 2021 and currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student success. She earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from North Carolina State University.
TOPIC: Erie County Community College
Keri’s presentation will cover: an outline of EC3’s history, provide a description of how EC3 and community colleges differ from the other institutions in Erie and surrounding counties, and discuss the program offerings and how they apply to your organization.
SPEAKER: Julie Bartocci
Julie is a Director in Buck’s Health practice. She is part of the Voluntary Benefits Integrated Solutions team and has over 15 years of industry experience. She has extensive knowledge of voluntary benefits insurance with significant experience in account management, benefits administration, and underwriting. Julie has a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University with a dual major in Risk Management and insurance and Human Resource Management.
SPEAKER: Laurie DuChateau
Laurie is the leader of Buck’s Compliance Consulting Practice, which is responsible for over 20 years representing numerous Fortune 250 clients with respect to employee benefits. She consults with clients on compliance, plan design and administration issues and finding innovative solutions to address their compliance needs with respect to retirement plans, non-qualified executive compensation plans, and health and welfare benefit plans. Laurie has her Juris Doctorate for Duquesne University School of Law.
TOPIC: Tuition Assistance Trends
This presentation will be an overview of tuition assistance. Covering: current best practices and trends, design/refresh considerations, and laws and regulations.
