SPEAKER: Dawn Keefer
Dawn is an experienced Corporate Relations Manager with the American Cancer Society. She has a long history of working in the non-profit management sector. Dawn has been with the American Cancer Society in the Pittsburgh area for 18 years and dedicates her work in memory of her father who passed away 24 years ago after a battle with esophageal cancer.
TOPIC: Getting to know your American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society has various resources available to companies and organizations that can support their employees. They also offer volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups and team building opportunities.
SPEAKER: Gina Klofft
Division Director, American Heart Association of Erie since 1986. Passionate advocate for heart and brain health in Erie and NW PA. Leads a local board of directors and is responsible for two lifesaving campaigns (Heart Walk, Go Red for Women and Heart Ball) generating nearly $750,000 for our mission "to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives."
TOPIC: Life's Essential 8
Life’s Essential 8 is an evidence-based community nutrition and well-being program that empowers people to make healthy food, nutrition, and lifestyle choices. This program will help HR professionals support their employees' health and engagement at work.
