    SPEAKER:        Julia Herzing

    Julia focuses her practice on management-side labor and employment matters, working with employers of all sizes, both private and public, to prevent and resolve a wide variety of employment disputes. She provides employers with counseling and training on compliance with workplace laws and advises on the full spectrum of day to day human resources issues employers face.

    TOPIC:         The Importance of Pay Equity-Developing Legally Compliant Compensation Policies

    Attorney Herzing will address the legal landscape as it relates to pay equity in the workplace and the need for businesses to be mindful of pay equity issues when making hiring, promotion, or other compensation decisions. This presentation will explore best practices for avoiding pay equity issues and making legally defensible pay decisions.

    Nadia concentrates her practice in all areas of transfer taxes; qualified and nonqualifiied retirement plans and employee benefits; fiduciary income tax and trust administration; business; as well as estate planning and administration.

    TOPIC:               Payroll Tax Approaches to Remote Work

    Remote or hybrid workforces have certain flexibility and might became the next normal. However, employers need to know tax and other legal issues raised by this new employment relationship.
